We are celebrating Read Across America week! It was developed in honor of Dr. Seuss’s birthday and his unique contributions to children’s literature. At Everett we will be participating in Read Across America week by having a Dr. Seuss spirit week, promoting children to read Dr. Seuss books all week, and by having a Dr. Seuss March Madness Battle of the Books.
Mulberry Street Monday Dress in animal print clothes so you’re like a carnival animal from Mulberry street! Top Hat Tuesday Wear your favorite hat like Bartholomew and his 500 hats! Wacky Wednesday Wear a wacky outfit like in Wacky Wednesday! (mismatched, inside out or backwards clothes, etc.) Thing One and Thing Two Thursday Grab a classmate or classmates and dress like twins like Thing One and Thing Two! (It can be as simply as deciding you both will wear black pants and a red shirt.) Fox in Socks Friday Wear silly or mismatched socks like Fox in Socks!
Only One You: Rock Painting
